  • A non-invasive diabetes breathalyzer designed to help pre-diabetic individuals detect metabolic changes early and prevent progression to Type 2 diabetes.

Built using NASA-patented nanosensor technology, the device analyzes biomarkers in exhaled breath and delivers real-time insights through a companion mobile app.

  • Diabetes impacts millions of families in the U.S., with 1 in 3 Americans currently pre-diabetic.
Existing glucose monitoring methods are often invasive, painful, and inconsistent, creating a major barrier to early intervention and prevention.

Our team set out to design a pain-free, accessible solution that empowers people to take control of their health before diabetes progresses.

  • This project reframed diabetes care as a behavioral and lifestyle challenge. Not just a medical one, showing how non-invasive technology and digital health tools can motivate long-term change.
